As much as I love that book, I can't for the life of me understand why Blair chose to put characters with such fussy overlaying details in service of such a basic exercise. Sure, their construction is dead simple, but those eyebrows? Eyelashes? Why? It makes everything so much more complicated! They always turn out messier than everything else - If you make the cat's fangs crooked the whole construction of the face looks looser and less assured.
Am I alone in feeling this way? Surely I'm not....
